The start of our journey...

Hi friends!

If you had told me 10 years ago that my brother and I would be traveling to Jeffreys Bay, South Africa to work with a day center for orphans - I might have called you crazy.

Funny how things work out. This summer - July 17-27 - we are indeed headed out to work with some dear friends as they stand up for those who can't stand up for themselves. The ministry we are working with is called LUO (www.luo-setfree.org). And what they are doing for the children there has truly touched both of our hearts.

Our hope is to lay the foundation for a safe house where children can stay off the streets in the night. In addition, we hope to play with kids mixed in with some teaching, help wiht food preparation and service, as well as continuing the work LUO has started in building bridges of hope and relationships in this community.

It's our joy, honor, and privilege to partner with you in this journey. We couldn't do it with out our friends, supporters, and encouragers! So thank you!

We are forever grateful,
Becca & Matt
